I Wore Green Today, But Not For The Reason You Might Think

Being American, I am a mutt. Of all of my heritages, Scottish is the one I have identified with the most. For that reason you might understand how St. Patrick’s Day isn’t my favourite holidays.

Typically an American-Scot will wear orange or their tartan on March 17th. Today, however, I wore green. You see, Saint Patrick wasn’t Irish. He was probably Scottish or Welsh. WHAT?! Yep.

And, did you know that many of the Scottish clans immigrated to Scotland from Ireland?

So this year I decided to wear green to support the (possible) Scottish missionary, and recognize that Scots and Irish have a common ancestor, Noah.
