Character Shaping, Part 2

What makes a main character (m.c.) different from a supporting character (s.c.)? The storyteller. Each person in your story is worthy of being the m.c. They all have their own lives and stories to tell. It’s your choice which one you want.

Obviously, the m.c. is going to have the most page time. It is their adventures that you will write, their thoughts and feelings will be focused on more than those of the s.c.

Now that you have picked which character you’re going to represent, it’s time to start writing!

What are some ways, other than page time, that you like to make the main character stand out from the rest?
